Voice, the final frontier for AI

The new OpenAI demos with Gpt-4o have proven one thing.

Voice is the final frontier.

Now I am a little worried.

Not about AGI taking over the world, but dumb humans giving the world to a Transformer model(run by other humans in the background).

People will believe anything. Remember, we all believe in a God we cannot see or hear. Just imagine what beliefs will start with something you can hear and speak.

Like the "my lord" communication in the 3 body problem.

Show the people a few miracles, and talk to them sweet nothing's and you have a "saviour" whom people will follow.

So, education is the key. This stupid talk of AGI has to stop.

You don't have a "car god" or "airplane god" because you know they are machines. If you suddenly put these machines in medieval ages, they will be Gods.

We would have stories about each machine as Gods. But no one in this world will call them Gods, because they are explainable.

Let's educate people that this AI is just a tool.

And nothing more.
